Sometimes rust stains can even end up on the fabric of your cloths. However, all hope is not lost yet. Lemon juice is extremely acidic and can eat the rust away. Simply put the effected rust stain on a few paper towels and pour the lemon juice on it. Let that soak in the sun for a little while and the rust stain will blot in to the paper towel. Once it has dried in to the paper towel simply put it through the wash like you would any other shirt. This tip also works with cut lemons that you’ve squeezed the juice out of. It’s that easy to remove a rust stain from fabric.
